SiMPEDIA’s first-ever surgical simulator, Lily, has been adapted to support the next generation of breast surgery: endoscopic minimally invasive mastectomy and robotic-assisted mastectomy.
Developed and refined with expert breast surgeons, Lily provides a high-fidelity surgical training experience, enabling surgeons to develop their skills in minimally invasive breast surgery.
Designed as a small, non-ptotic breast, Lily provides realistic anatomical structures and tissue planes to support endoscopic and robotic dissection, mastectomy and implant-based reconstruction.
The simulator includes differentiation between subcutaneous fat and glandular tissue, retro-areolar ducts and medial intercostal perforators, enables surgeons to practice dissection in correct anatomical planes and preservation of critical structures.
By adapting our established breast simulation platform for emerging surgical techniques, Lily supports the development, training and standardisation of endoscopic and robotic-assisted breast surgery.
